Mossframes – Moss Art

A moss painting is an eye-catcher in your home or business. Mosses enhance the atmosphere and provide a feeling of peace and well-being. Unlike plants, this moss needs no care and is 100% maintenance free. This allows you to place a moss frame in a place in the room where indoor plants cannot grow due to lack of light. A moss frame takes up hardly any space and improves the acoustics due to the high sound absorption of the moss. So you have both a living eye-catcher and a sound panel. 

Take a look at our website for inspiration and then provide us with information about the desired moss type, size and frame. You can choose from a wooden frame (pine, beech, oak, robinia, oak or rubberwood), white/black or RAL color of your choice or a fine steel frame with coating. Less is more. No frame but pure moss? This is also possible! This option is very popular. Feel free to ask for examples.

FRAME AND FINISH

Finishing is everything. That’s why we at Mosmuur have real professionals who deliver customized work in the material of your choice. We will be happy to assist you in making the right list.

We have six different options in terms of finish and frame, including a wide selection of wood species.
As a sustainable and ecological company, we limit the options to pine, beech, oak, robinia and rubberwood. Beech and oak stand for themselves as European hardwood. We choose pine because it is a more price-conscious alternative and therefore suitable for lacquering in different colours. Robinia is also European hardwood with a similar colour to pine. We choose rubberwood as an alternative for tropical hardwood. It has the same qualities, but it is a more durable choice than tropical wood and it can also be easily coloured, which allows us to come close to a real variant. All our wood is FSC and PEFC certified. 

Do you prefer a metal frame? Our welder will be happy to make a design, which we can coat in a RAL colour of your choice or provide in Corten steel for a beautifully weathered or a real rust effect. Take a look at the different options and ask for samples or a representative in case of doubts.
