The product

100% Handmade in Antwerp - All our moss walls are custom made in the studio in Antwerp. We deliberately opt for local and artisan production because we can follow up and adjust during the entire assembly process. This way we guarantee the best quality and perfect workmanship.

Technical construction of a moss wall.

By default the moss wall is fixed on ecoboard, in thickness 9 or 12 mm. A sustainable, environmentally friendly and 100% biodegradable and fire retardant sheet material, made from agricultural surpluses. The total thickness of a panel with moss is about 6 cm.

Our mospanels are made in the format 244cm x 122cm (in accordance with MDF). By mounting multiple copies against and above each other you create a moss wall. Customization is possible, the maximum size of a panel in one piece is 244 x 122 cm. We use bending plywood or bark as the basis for round moss walls.

Delivery and installation by the moss wall team.

If you want to be sure of a perfect end result, we recommend having the placement done by our experienced employees. This way you also avoid any damage caused by transport. Our project coordinator will contact you about one week before the installation to discuss the installation process with you. If possible or desired, a site visit may be appropriate. In this way we will never be faced with surprises later on and everything can be done quickly and qualitatively, after all, good preparation is everything. The placement of larger walls is always done by two employees. Larger panels are attached to the existing surface or wall with impact plugs, nails or screws, directly against the back wall or against a wooden skeleton. The seams and edges are carefully finished on the spot. Our employees only go home when you are 100% satisfied.

Pick up in the store – place your wall or frame yourself

You can easily attach smaller frames yourself – they are equipped with a hanging system. Our employees provide advice during collection and you can always contact our project coordinator for additional questions or problems. Larger walls consist of several panels that are carefully packed. An assembly schedule and info are included.
